STRATFORD-UPON-AVON: Probably the finest surviving Tudor House in Stratford, Hall's Croft was the home of William Shakespeare's daughter Susanna and her husband Dr. John Hall. The structure is oak-timbered with a many-gabled roof, and is surrounded by a beautiful walled garden. The property was purchased in 1949 by the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, and contains rare and attractive furnishings of the Tudor period.
