SCENIC WASHINGTON, D.C. AT DUSK
At 555 feet 5 1/2 inches tall, the Washington Monument dominates the skyline of Washington, D.C.,where no new buildings are permitted to rise higher than the Capitol dome. Here the monument is pictured as viewed from the north, with the White House in the foreground. The dome of the Jefferson Memorial on the Potomac River shore is visible even farther to the south.

HARRIS COUNTY DOMED STADIUM
Houston, Texas
The world's first domed, air-conditioned sports stadium, will seat approximately 46,000 for baseball, 53,000 for football, 66,000 for boxing. The stadium will be south of O.S.T., between Main and Fannin. The parking area will accommodate 25,000 cars. The dome is approximately 200 feet high and 712 feet in diameter. A modern bomb shelter will be under the stadium. Completion of the stadium is set for April, 1963.

TENNESSEE, the Volunteer State, became the 16th state on June 1, 1796. Music is probably the state's number one commodity to the world with the blues born on Beale St. in Memphis and the Grand Ole Opry originating in Nashville, the Capital.
