The stopover at the hospitable town of White River along the Lake Superior "Circle" Route prompts the visitors to turn their thoughts to another season – the invigorating, fun filled winters of the great north country. White River is situated at the northeast corner of the famous Route, which completely encircles the world's largest fresh water lake (383 miles long, 160 miles wide, 1302 ft. deep).
